To apply to the scholarships funded under the EU Scholarship Programme for Cypriot Youth at UWC you must meet the following criteria:
Applicants must be born between 2025 and 2025. This typically aligns with students entering the final two years of secondary education, but specific age requirements may vary by UWC school or college.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in year 10 or year 11. A strong academic record is important, but we also value a demonstrated commitment to learning beyond the classroom.

UWC schools and colleges primarily use English as the language of instruction. While fluency is not required at the time of application, applicants are advised to attain a basic proficiency in English and demonstrate a willingness to improve their language skills.

Please note that you are only allowed to submit one application per academic year to study at UWC, even if you are eligible to apply via more than one UWC national committee.

General Conditions for All Applicants
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO PROVE ELIGIBILITY
All applicants will be asked to upload the required documents listed below on the online portal for their application to be valid, before the application deadline. The documents can be in English, Turkish or Greek. No translation is required.
Important Notes
Scholars will be selected to study at a UWC college for the period of 1 September 2026 and 31 August 2028.
The UWC Cyprus application process will be managed through our online portal. A passport size photo, as well as all relevant eligibility documents (see above) will need to be uploaded on the portal while submitting the application form.
The deadline for submitting the online application along with the required eligibility documents is Sunday 11 January 2026, by 23.59 hours Cyprus time. Our online portal will be automatically closed for applications after this time.
